About the Band

Tim Bearden (Guitar/Vocals)

Tim is the band’s main songwriter. Hailing from Quincy, IL, Tim began putting words and melodies together mainly performing on couches for various pets. After capturing the attention of fellow musicians, Tim put together a band to play his original music. He now lives in St.Louis and spends most of his time songwriting and playing at local area venues.

Matt Gadeken (Violin/Mandolin)

Matt “The Melody” Gadeken has been playing music his whole life. He grew up performing with his family at church. Matt played in several bands over the years spanning several genres from Bluegrass to Folk to Gospel. Matt has a keen ear for sound and a passion for making great music as a multi-instrumentalist. When he is not working as an electrician he plays many gigs as possible with various artists including Peanut and the Shells, Clusterpluck and Lefty Daytona to name a few.

If you have seen local music in St. Louis, chances are Drew has hit your ear. Drew has been a full-time hard-working musician in St. Louis for almost ten years. Before his music career developed Drew was a nationally-ranked wrestler at Lindenwood University where he brought home two National Titles. Drew plays with over 20 different entities with his focus on making original music. His stunning vocals and impressive rhythmic skills make him a musical unicorn. Drew Lance (Drums)

The Bluesy Folk St. Louis-based band, Peter Porcelain and the American Standard, was founded in 2020. Tim (guitar/vocals) brought together the dynamic group to focus on original music. With the talents of Matt Gadeken (mandolin/violin/vocals) and Drew Lance (percussion/vocals) they put out a relaxing and heartfelt vibe with warm lyrics backed by strong harmonies. You can find them playing all over the St. Louis area and beyond!
